  • The Louvre and Musée d'Orsay for art, ideally on separate days to avoid museum fatigue.
  • Climb (or take the elevator up) the Eiffel Tower, and see it lit up after dark from Trocadéro.
  • Explore Montmartre's streets and Sacré-Cœur early morning before the crowds arrive.
  • Walk the Marais for boutique shopping and some of the city's best falafel and pastry.

Mejor época para visitar

April–June and September–October bring pleasant weather and somewhat thinner crowds than the July–August peak.

Dónde alojarse

The Marais (3rd/4th arrondissement) and Saint-Germain (6th) are central, walkable, and well-connected by Métro. The area around Montmartre (18th) is atmospheric but a bit further from the main museum cluster.

Transporte y aeropuertos

The Métro covers the whole city densely and is the fastest way to get around; RER trains reach the airports and nearby suburbs (including Versailles). Walking is realistic between many central sights.

Gastronomía

A neighborhood boulangerie for breakfast pastry, a market (like Marché Bastille) for picnic supplies, and a proper sit-down bistro dinner is a reliable, affordable pattern for a Paris trip.

Excursiones de un día

Versailles (30–40 minutes by RER) is the classic day trip. Giverny (Monet's gardens) and the châteaux of the Loire Valley are also reachable in a long day.

Presupuesto

Expect Paris to run higher than the French national average: a mid-range day (hotel, museum entries, sit-down meals) commonly totals €180–280.

Consejos de viaje

Many major museums are closed one day a week (the Louvre on Tuesdays, Musée d'Orsay on Mondays); check before planning your route. Booking timed-entry tickets online in advance avoids the longest queues at the Louvre and Eiffel Tower.
