Lisbon Airport

Lisbon Humberto Delgado Airport is Portugal’s busiest airport and the hub of TAP Air Portugal. It sits within the city, unusually close to the centre, which makes arrivals quick by metro or taxi. It is operated by ANA, part of VINCI Airports.
Terminals and airlines
Terminal 1 is the main terminal, used by TAP and most airlines for arrivals and departures, and home to the metro station. Terminal 2 is a separate building used for departures by some airlines; check your booking and allow time to get there.
Transit and connections
TAP uses Lisbon to connect Europe with Brazil, North America and Africa. Connections between Schengen and non-Schengen flights involve passport control, which can be busy at peak times. Plan your margin with our Layover Planner.
Passenger facilities
Terminal 1 has shops, restaurants, lounges and other services. Check the airport website for current services.

- Buses: city buses (Carris) and intercity coaches (such as Flixbus) stop near the arrivals terminal. According to the airport's public transport page, only luggage up to 50 x 40 x 20 cm is allowed on city buses.
- Taxis and ride-hailing are available outside arrivals and are practical with large suitcases.
