Hamad International Airport

Hamad International Airport (DOH) is Qatar’s international airport and the hub of Qatar Airways. A large part of its traffic is transfer passengers changing planes between Europe, the Americas, Africa, Asia and Oceania, and the airport is designed around making those connections smooth.
Terminal and airlines
All passenger flights use a single terminal, so there is no change of terminal when you connect. Qatar Airways operates the majority of flights, with its oneworld partners and other international airlines also serving Doha.
Transit and connections
Transfer passengers on one ticket go through transfer security and continue to their gate without entering Qatar. If your onward flight is on a separate ticket, or if you need to collect bags, you will usually have to pass immigration, so check the entry rules before booking. Our Layover Planner helps you judge how much time you need.
Passenger facilities
The airport’s most distinctive feature is The Orchard, a 6,000 mยฒ indoor tropical garden with rainforest trees under a column-free roof, opened in November 2022 as part of the airport’s expansion. The terminal also has duty-free shopping, restaurants, lounges, quiet areas and prayer rooms; check the airport website for current services.
