Where Should I Travel?
How it works and tips
How the suggestions are chosen
Every country with a FANOUSS guide has a simple profile: the months that usually suit a first visit, the climate most visitors experience, a broad cost level, the kinds of trips it does best and roughly how many days it needs. Your answers are scored against those profiles with fixed, visible rules, a month inside the usual best season scores higher than one outside it, a matching climate adds points, each matching interest adds points, and a trip that is too short for a big country loses points. The results show the score and the reasons, so you can see why a destination appears.
You do not have to answer everything. A single month, a climate or one interest is enough; the more you add, the sharper the list becomes. If nothing matches all your choices, the tool says so and shows the closest options instead of inventing a perfect match.
What it does not tell you
The seasons used here are general patterns, not a weather forecast. The tool does not know today’s prices, flight availability, events or whether you need a visa. Before booking, read the country guide (especially the best time to visit and entry sections) and check official sources for current conditions.
Next steps
Once you have a shortlist, browse the country guides and city guides, sketch the route with the Multi-City Trip Builder, and estimate costs with the Trip Budget Calculator.
Frequently asked questions
Is the match score a rating of the destination?
No. It only measures how well a destination fits the answers you gave. A low score means a poor fit for those choices, not a worse place.
Why does a destination I like not appear?
Suggestions come only from countries that have a published FANOUSS guide, and your month or trip length may fall outside what usually works there. Try removing one preference to widen the list.
